HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

The Haydens 2008

What a year it's been! 2008 has come and gone. And as we prepare for another year I look back on all that we have accomplished in 2008. I celebrated my 30th birthday in January with family and friends. My employment with Orica USA ended in January and I started a new job in Loveland, Colorado at Heska Corporation. In October I moved the family up to Northern Colorado and they started a new school in Loveland.

Katelyn finished 1st grade in May and received the Good Citzenship award for the fifth straight semester. She celebrated her 7th birthday in July by going to Six Flag Elitches. She hit a milestone this year and was able to ride all the "big kid" rides. Her favorited being the Tower of Doom. In August, she started second grade and has adjusted well to her new school. Katelyn would like to thank everyone who continues to save box tops. She is truly grateful to Brooke and James Goff, Nick and Gretchen Williams, Auntie Kimmee and everyone at Heska for contributing this year. She has been one of the top earners in her class.

Kenyon started first grade this August. Unfortunately, he had a bit of a rough year when he got a head-to-toe rash that took him to the hospital. Several doctors later we learned that he was allergic to nickel. Weeks after learning about his allergy he broke both bones in his wrist in a playground accident. He finally got a clean bill of health in October. Kenyon celebrated his 6th birthday this year and is looking forward to Christmas.

Kayne turned 3 this year and he has found his independence. Potty-training was finally successful and we are now a diaper-free household. Although he is the only one in full-time daycare we are looking forward to pre-school in fall 2009. (and of course alittle extra pocket change). Kayne will celebrate his 4th birthday in January and will share it with his new friends.

Inthe upcoming year we are looking forward to a Family Reunion in Texas and our annual trip to Glenwood Springs. 2009 should bring a lot more accomplishments for the children. So here's too another great year!!

We love you all!!
